How Making Friends With Your Anger is Your Ticket to Healing

A topic that has been placed in my path so much lately has been around the concept of the mind-body connection and the ways in which our emotions, and specifically how we harbor them, can so deeply effect our physical health. The beautiful part of this being that when we do the inner work around pinpointing the source of our negative emotions, and find healthy ways to release these from us, the outcome is freedom and healing, both emotionally and physically.

While my personal story isn’t one of chronic pain or disease or trauma, I still have started to be incredibly intentional about the ways in which I acknowledge the anger or sadness I carry with me, and want to be proactive about healing and releasing those feelings in order to create wholeness, peace and health in my body, in my soul, and in my relationships with others.

In this episode I give a high-level definition of the mind-body connection, and the ways in which our thoughts and our feelings can manifest health or dis-ease in our bodies, and then share the different sources this wisdom has come from in my life recently, all seeming to provide synchronous confirmation of this truth by seeing it reflected in so many different stories.
