Happiest of Hearts Day To You

Well my favorite day is officially upon us. And I wanted to be one of the very first to wish you a most wonderful, happy, and love-filled Valentine's Day! I hope you eat treats, and get Valentines in the mail, and wear something that includes pink, hearts, sparkles, or all of the above (that might be a preview of what I'm wearing today in real life).

My amazing friend and incredibly talented photographer Ally Stepp took these pictures when we met up for a little photo shoot a few weeks back. I can't wait to share all of the rest with you, but these were so perfect for today. Luckily she brought along this precious little heart, so we snapped a few shots with it at the end before calling it a day. 

So again, Happy Valentine's Day. May you find and celebrate love in whatever form it may take in your life - romantic, friendship, family, co-workers, cats - and spread it around with you where ever you go. Lastly, do you know how Valentine's Day started? It wasn't by Hallmark in case that's what you thought. Though there are a couple different theories, this is the one I've heard most frequently and love with all my heart. St. Valentine was the best, and we truly are celebrating a day centered around romantic, selfless, and true-love-seeking love.
