It's no surprise that I love sparkly things (even if this is your first time to my blog, I would think the title would have given that away). I'm instantly in love with most things shiny and sequiny, but I also know that many people don't share this same love. One look that I'm kind of obsessed with right now is sequined pants. They're such a fun pop of glam, and when worn with a toned down top can look so fabulous. I have a pair of sequin leggings myself (seen here), and even though I wish they were gold or black, I still find myself wanting to wear them often. It's just tough knowing how and when is appropriate.
Anyways, I give this trend a major yes in my book, but would love to hear what you think! Would you wear them? If not, do you think they still could work on other people? How would you style them?
And if you're wondering if this whole post is about me searching for validation to wear sequin pants in public, you might be right.

Lol...love that last sentence. I personally wouldn't rock the sequin pants because I have nowhere to wear them to. I don't think dropping my kids off at school in them would look all that appropriate. If I was back in my 20's, working in a boutique or going out on the town, I'd totally wear them! I guess there's a time and a season for some things. I say go for it! =)

I don't think sequin pants would flatter my body type (I have pretty muscular thighs), but for the girl with skinny little legs, I HOPE she wears sequin pants as some point in her life! How often in a girl's lifetime are sequin pants going to be socially acceptable?!

I love the second pair and the last -- I think the shorter crop and more subtle color makes them doable for me. With a loose chambray or just how the last pair is worn -- that I'd do. I'd love to see the gold pairs on someone else though!
