Radiant

Forever 21 dress and jacket (both old, this jacket is cute), Old Navy ankle boots (similar), Bip & Bop necklace (c/o) Radiant lipstick in Reef (c/o)

Do you have any fashion or beauty trends you desperately wish you could pull off? For me, one of the top ones has always been bright lipstick. I am so jealous of girls who look gorgeous and glamorous in beautiful reds, corals, or hot pinks. Every time I try, I feel silly. Like I'm a little girl playing dress up and everyone knows I'm faking it. But it remains one of my goals to find lipstick I love, and then just choose to rock it.

Then I had the privilege of being introduced to Radiant Cosmetics. I was able to try their lipsticks and eyeshadows, but more importantly, I learned about the awesome work they are doing to bring awareness to the human trafficking industry - something close to my heart - and their ultimate goal to bring about its abolition. Their heart for women, and anyone else affected by the horrific and heartbreaking sex trade is beautiful and inspiring. The goal is to tap into the multi-billion dollar cosmetics industry and turn something that women already spend money on into lasting good.

I was incredibly pleased with the quality of their products and actually even liked how this lipstick turned out on me :) Miracle. So that leaves me with two things I would love to encourage you with: 1. Don't give up on your beauty or fashion aspirations, just find a way to make them work for you, and 2. Next time you get low on makeup, consider checking out a company who is dedicated to making a difference in the world. Then together we can all help fight human trafficking, one lipstick at a time.

  9. Radient is a great company. AND before I even read your post (or made the connection between the post name and the product line) I looked and your pictures and was thinking how good your makeup looked! So you really have no reason at all to feel self conscious in bright lipstick because you look great! :)

  10. The lipstick looked so good :) And, really love the that Radiant stands behind bringing awareness to human trafficking. The more we talk about it the more likely others will learn about the horrors that happen in the sext trade.
