Julep Maven

I am always a fan of trying new polishes and was so excited to receive this amazing set of colors from Julep, especially since Julep isn't a brand you run across very often in the store. I have LOVED using these polishes and am very impressed with how opaque they go on, even with just one coat. Their multi-colored glitter - Mila - is awesome and Robin (the turquoise color below) is definitely one of my favorite colors I own now.

Besides having great nail polish, Julep also has their Julep Maven program where you can receive two new polishes in the mail every month (along with other beauty products) for just $19.99. What a fun treat to get in your mailbox :) You can take the quiz to see what your nail style is here and check out all their fun products here. Have you girls tried Julep? If so, what did you think? Below are some of my favorite colors I've tried.

  2. I love the last manicure. I want to try something similar. I feel like I never have time to try any nail 'art.' I barely have time to get polish on my nails!

  6. Pretty colors! I'm wondering - I know you have recommended a good top coat before (but I can't remember what it is... hint hint :)). Do you have a recommendation for a strengthening bottom coat or an effective but gentle nail polish remover? I naturally have strong nails but after a month or two of polishing once a week my nails always get pretty ragged and chipped on the tips.

  8. Robin has to be my favorite color I've seen on you. I don't have any Julep, but I'm tempted to start their monthly maven program. Sigh. I really shouldn't be getting into another monthly box!

  14. I get the Julep Maven boxes once a month and it's always such a treat. I get two nail polishes and one goodie (usually a lotion or an exfoliant). Definitely worth the money.

I also bought Essie's Beyond Cozy the other day and thought of you when I wore it. It's insanely glittery and so beautiful. http://www.thepolishaholic.com/2012/10/essie-winter-2012-collection-swatches.html

(That's not a link to my blog, it just has great pictures of the polish.) Pictures don't do this polish justice so you should check it out in person!
