I bought these shoes a couple years ago - mostly because they were pink and sparkly and super fancy - and have only worn them once in those two years (surprise surprise). I wore them with my NYE outfit but have yet to find an appropriate time to wear them again. Until I realized you don't need a special occasion to wear fancy shoes! Just make up your own! So the unofficial "Fancy Footwear Friday" became my excuse. I dressed them down with jeans and a simple shirt, and even laid off the accessories too. And I'll be honest, I felt pretty fabulous in my fancy shoes. So the moral of the story is don't save your fancy footwear for a special occasion, make one up instead :)
