Hello lovelies! I present you with Part 4 of my Repurposing Party Dresses series. I saved my favorite for last and am sad this has come to an end! I would love to do this some more in the future, so we'll see. This dress is pretty amazing, right? I was shopping with my Mom in Portland and we saw this gem hanging on the sale rack (for only $40!) and she literally made me try it on. She then told me, "you have to buy this" and proceeded to buy it for me. (I still owe her for half of it). So yes, my Mom is amazing. I'm not gonna lie, I want to wear it always. If you must know something about my personality, it would be that a gold sequin party dress makes me feel unstoppable.
Unfortunately I can't prance down the grocery store aisles or sit at my work desk in this dress so it will only come out when it is socially acceptable. Luckily, I was able to find a way to extend its use a little by adding a skirt and a necklace and am sure I could come up with some other ideas too :)
So here's to the end of this fun series, my amazing photographer Miss Ally, and champagne and gold sequins. It's been fabulous. (See also Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3)
If you're interested in getting in touch with Ally - who professionally shoots weddings, engagements, solo photo shoots, and pretty much anything you want - send her an e-mail at allystepp [at] gmail [dot] com. She's the best ;)

I'm glad your mom had you buy this dress- you look amazing in it! I have a sequin dress that just sits in my closet too but to be honest, I've only worn it once because the sequins literally slice my skin, not fun! But it is so pretty and I love the idea of changing it up and making it more wearable for a night out!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love this dress. It's my favorite one in the series!
ReplyDeleteWow, love these photos and the dress.
