Weddings and Reunions

I just got back from a super quick but super wonderful weekend in Portland for a friends' wedding. Not only was the wedding and day beautiful, but I can't tell you how great it was to see all of my Portland friends, even if it was just for a night. It was a weekend filled with hugs, dancing, catching up, girl talks, and much needed sleepovers with my old roommate. It was completely worth the quick trip up and makes me thankful that I can have my world down here, but still feel so happy and at home with the world I left behind in Portland. Friendships that span the test of time and distance are truly something to be treasured and I don't take them for granted.
