Life As It Should Be

Hi and happy Monday! I hope you had wonderful Easter weekends. My Easter was so great and I felt like my whole weekend was pretty ideal. Sunshine, walks, church, friend time, and lots of rest. 

Last night as I was walking around the island during sunset, I was in one of those moods where everything just seemed right with the world. Families were together and out eating on their porches. Couples were on walks with their dogs. Kids were playing tag on the beach. Everyone was smiling at each other. And you just got the sense that the sun was setting on a day that was filled with love, relaxation, Easter dresses, delicious brunches, and thankfulness.

I wish every Sunday or Sabbath was like that every week. For everyone. How lovely that we were given a day of forced rest, and in an ideal world, one that is surrounded by a loving community. There's something so freeing and calming about letting yourself fully enjoy your loved ones and the beauty of the world and having that be your only agenda for the day. What a beautiful world this would be if we all lived like that :)
