I am honored Sara asked me to guest post while she is visiting her BFF!
I love hanging out with my girlfriends and one thing my best friend and I share is our love for lipstick.
I love trying new colors, but I know lipstick makes some people nervous so I want to share some of my favorite colors.
Bear with me while I make my first attempt at being a lipstick model..
I had to be talked into this light pink color when I was getting my makeup done for my best friend's wedding, and then I bought it so I could re-apply that night. Now that I have it, I realize it is such a great basic!
This is one of my favorite colors because it is so bright. Bright lips are one of my favorite ways to liven up an outfit or a dreary day {Portland weather--dreary}.
It makes me so happy to wear bright pink on my lips and it's a little more shocking in person.
Use it to compliment your bright outfit, or add a pop of color to a neutral outfit and you're good to go.
Purple lips are a great trend this spring, and while I haven't tried lavender lips, this is such a great mix between the bright pink and a deep berry color.
Everyone needs a good red lipstick {or stain}.
I'm a big fan of wearing red lipstick any time of day, any day of the week.

Oh fun! I love this post. I'm trying to be more adventurous with lipstick but it can be so high maintenance to wear for a long period of time.
ReplyDeleteMy fav is def he Fuschia color! Lipstick is always so intimidating to me, but I love the bright colors. I may have to delve into lipstick soon!
