Copycat Nails

gray and silver glitter half moon nails

I know I've said it a ton of times before, but I really get so much use and inspiration of out my Nail Polish pinterest board. So I just wanted to share a couple of variations I did based off of nail ideas I have saved for awhile.

inspired from this manicure

splatter paint polka dot nails (that could use a lot of improvement)

inspired from this manicure

For both of my manicures I used my Art Deco nail lacquer bottles for the half moon glitter and the polka dots, with Forever 21 colors as the base. Not that hard at all! But I wish I would have made my polka dot nails look a lot more like the original, I love that one. Hope that gives you some new ides and let me know where you go for nail inspiration, I could always use more :)

  5. Love the pinspiration! The nails I am painting on today our totally inspired by ones I pinned, and it's highly likely that I repinned them from your board!

  6. Hi Sara, I'm a fellow California girl- I can't believe you're now living in Newport Beach! That's so close to me- I'm from Long Beach near Belmont Shore :) It's so cool to know a fellow blogger is super close! Anyway, I love how you're so creative with your nails! I'm a new follower- (number 203!) I can't wait to see more of your posts- Also, I'd love if you'd check out my blog- Living in Color. It would mean the world to me :)

p.s. I just read your most recent posts about how it's been a very tough 6 months, and I just wanted to wish you well, and give you some encouragement. Something that I have learned the last few years in my own life is that an optimistic view on all situations (even in the midst of a very real and scary struggle) will always lead to better things in the end. I am a firm believer that you will be rewarded for your positive attitude and trust/faith in God, and I admire you for your strength.

I'd love to connect, because just from reading your posts you seem like someone who I could become fast friends with, if nothing more than in the blogosphere!
    xo, elle
