Wedding in an Airport Hangar

Me and my bestie Miss Shayda

One of the reasons I'm down in CA right now was to attend a wedding of one of my best friends growing up. It's my first childhood friend to get married so it was fun being reunited with elementary and high school friends, as well as the bride's family who used to be like a second family to me. The wedding was in an airport hangar and they were the first ones to have it there so that was pretty rad. Unfortunately I super dropped the ball and decided to leave my "good" camera behind. So I was left with sub-par cell phone and point and shoot pics.

The beautiful bride (in outfit #2)
Some of us girls decided it was a good idea to pass around someone's red lipstick so we could all wear it. Obviously it was not a good idea for me. I am determined to find a lipstick I like though.

Shellac staying strong...

The happy couple. Congrats you two!!

Where's the most unique place you've been to a wedding at?

  4. Goodness, I love the airplane hanger. That's genius. All the weddings I've attended have been in the typical wedding spots. One was at a rural park that was beautiful though.

  5. How cute are they? I love that rustic feeling even in the industrial venue. I got shellac for my wedding and it stayed strong for at least 2 weeks! Except, I had a hard time getting it off - ah!

  11. this is so cool! I have never heard of anything like it! I have not been to any weddings that were in any weird places...although my parents attended a wedding on the top of a huge building in downtown Chicago! :)
