Writer's Block

I have been sitting in front of my computer for almost an hour now, toggling between facebook, twitter, pinterest, and my empty blog editing screen and still have nothing. I thought about writing about my weekend (super uneventful), doing my book review since I've read four books I want to share with you now (that will take too long), maybe sharing my new shoes I just bought at Nordstrom with my saved up Nordstrom notes (nude Jessica Simpson pumps - pretty sure you can picture those on your own), but nothing is jumping out at me as "bloggable." I was in kind of a weird mood today, so something's telling me I just need to go to bed and start over tomorrow. Funny how Monday's kind of give us a chance to do that huh?

Anyways, now it is Monday morning and I thought about what I wanted to share today. My brother sent this e-mail to friends and family last night and the story breaks my heart, but my brother's actions warm my heart. I wanted to share his e-mail in case anyone felt like helping.

Hello Family and Friends,
I recently heard a story that made me extremely sad and left me
feeling that something should happen to help out with this unfortunate
event. The uncle of one of the kids I work with in my classroom is a
farmer near Sacramento and while starting up machinery in the morning,
there was an explosion and he was severely electrocuted. His young son
was with him and witnessed this and ran home several miles to get
help. When paramedics finally arrived, they announced him dead on the
spot. His family, which consists of 3 children and his wife, are now
left and fearful of the financial future since the father's job was
their only source of income.

It made me so sad to hear his young son had to witness such a tragedy
and now his children and wife have to grow up without a father and
husband. My hope would be to potentially raise some money to give to
the family to ease the financial stress during this tough time.
There's definitely no obligation to give as I know this is a tough
time for most people financially, but if you feel like contributing,
that would be great. If you click on the link below, there's a donate
button on the top left of the page and it's easy to do from there. Feel
free to let anyone else know about this if you would like to. Thanks for
taking the time to read this and hopefully we can help out this family
during this time!

If anyone can help out that would be awesome. Hope you had a wonderful weekend and I'll try and get my blogging creativity back and flowing!

xoxo

I feel so bad for that family. I'll keep them in my prayers. Thanks for sharing.
