Shoe Savers

I recently bought these beauties at H&M (only $35) and am in love with the patent/suede combo and the fact that I can see myself wearing them from summer straight into fall. But there's a problem: either I have shrinking foot syndrome or the shoe industry has decided to slowly make their sizes bigger and bigger for some unknown reason. I used to be a 7.5, have been a 7 for awhile, but now am finding even most 7's to be too big! Whaaa?? So even though these 7's fit me in the store, I took them home and after wearing them to work for a couple of hours, sure enough, my feet starting flipping out of them and I could feel myself looking like "awkward girl who just tried wearing heels for the first time."

Enter my solution:

When I purchased my glitter shoes for my birthday, the only size they had was a 7.5. I wouldn't let that stop me and decided I would find a way to make them fit. So I tried these heel liners and loved them!!
First of all you can barely see them (see above), they make your shoes more comfortable, and they keep your heel stuck in your shoe. Which in turn makes you walk like a normal human being. So I've bought another set for my new shoes and can think of at least 2 more shoes I will be buying these for. They are around $5 which seems kind of annoying at first, but is totally worth it when you make your favorite pairs of shoes that much better.

Just my friendly shoe tip for you today.

Mwah!

  2. Good to know! When I was younger I used to be 6.5 and now 5.5 is my usual size! You're not alone when it comes to shrinking feet!

  5. I love those little magical shoe inserts as well, I find that you can also add the gel insoles to the whole shoe( the bottom inside) and it helps shoes to fit better as well at the same time as making them more comfy if the are super high!
