Love and Relationships: A Round-Up

This week seems to be the week of single/relationship/dating conversations across some of the blogs I follow and it's been interesting and thought-provoking to read what others have to say. Since I went to bed pretty early last night (good job me) and don't have time for a "real" post today, I thought I might do a little round up of some of the things I read this week in case you have the time and want to read them yourself!

How to Snag a Man Without Pursuing. "All the Single Ladies." Guest post by Darrell Vesterfelt on Ally Spotts blog. I feel like this summarized some sermons John Mark (Solid Rock) did a year or so back and was well written and with good reminders to girls.

Five Reasons to Stop Talking About "The One" by Ally Spotts. I really enjoyed this one.

Controversial posts to women and men by Donald Miller on how to live a great love story. Get ready to set aside some serious time if you feel like making your way through the hundreds of comments on each of these posts. Reactions to his posts are all over, but I don't have the time to link to them all :)

And then Ally (guess I'm kind of obsessed with her blog this week huh?) did a nice wrap up of relationship posts this week as well. You can see those here.

Sorry to be so unoriginal, but I hope these give you some good food for thought and I'd love to know what you think about them if you have the time to read them!

Have a wonderful Friday my dears! xoxo

  3. Sara B., these are incredibly wise & savvy articles. You exemplify so many of these characteristics. As your mom, I am 'humbly proud' of the young woman you have become & your reasons for doing so. You are a "precious gem," as in the context of Proverbs 31. I thank God daily that I am your mom. xoxo
