Glitter and Grace: Immeasurably More

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21

For some reason, this verse has been playing over and over in my head for the last two weeks. Especially the words him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. I think God is trying to remind me that my finite and limited view of life as I plan it doesn't even come close to what He has in store for me. And He has been giving me glimpses of a life that is "exceedingly abundantly above all I ask or think" (NKJ version). It's so encouraging. And exciting. So I was hoping maybe it would encourage you as well. God gives us hopes and dreams for a reason, and while His plan might be to fulfill those too, I think He likes taking us on a ride that leads us to a place only He could dream up for us. And I don't know about you, but I would rather choose that path over my own any day :)
