For My Mama

My beautiful Mommy. I love this picture of her.

Happy Mother's Day to all you amazing mamas out there! You happen to have my dream job and what I think has got to be one of the most important, difficult, and rewarding roles there is. Since I'm not there yet, I get the awesome privilege of celebrating my wonderful Mother. Wish I could be with you today Mom, but know that I love you so much and will never be able to thank you enough for everything you've done for me! Today I celebrate you and want you to know some of the reasons that I look up to you and think you are just the best.

Happy Mother's Day to the Mom who:
  • put out candles for us at breakfast every morning and decorated the table with confetti and glitter on special occasions
  • prays with homeless people
  • dances on tables
  • makes up her own raps and isn't afraid to perform them in front of large groups of people
  • embarrasses her family sometimes, but gets us out of our comfort zone :)
  • gave me my appreciation of high heels and large jewels
  • made us dinner every night
  • asks for presents like, "do a random act of kindness for someone"
  • cheered us on at every gymnastic meet, soccer, basketball, and volleyball game
  • uses her gifts to serve others
  • sings into spoons with me while making Christmas cookies
  • prays for me constantly
  • always kept a clean house
  • could rival Martha Stewart at table setting/decorating
  • taught us about Jesus
  • is still the prettiest person I know
You're my role model Mommy and I love you so much! I hope you feel blessed and loved today xoxo
