Loving...West Elm

West Elm is probably the furniture store that best embodies my home decorating style. I love how it's modern yet somehow still whimsical and cozy. And how they mix different textures together from their throw pillows to their rugs to their lighting. And fortunately for me, there's one at the bottom of my building! I don't go in it too often though, I don't like torturing myself with things I can't buy (though their prices are really reasonable compared to other home stores). But when I do stroll through, I take mental notes of my favorite items and the most visually appealing displays. Here are some of the things I'm loving right now...

Hammered Vases. $29-$69

Metal Bendy Straws. So fun. $3.50 each

Short Drum Pendant. $149

Antique Tiled Floor Mirror. $359

Striped Duvet Cover and Shams. $16-$79

Tiled Capiz Table Lamp. $149

Mongolian Lamb Pillow Covers. $49-$129

Gilded-Grasscloth Pillow Cover. $39

I also stumbled across this fun feature on their website for the first time: city guides! They highlight different cities with a guide on what to eat, where to stay and shop, and things to discover. Here's Portland's :)
